Wedding Day

On Dec. 15, 1956, Sara Edna Hinman and Charles Rinehart Hukill said their vows in a simple wedding ceremony in the living room of the Hinman's house in Seneca, Mo. From then on, life was a bed of roses. Wherever the young couple went, birds sang and flowers bloomed. Wait a minute! Who are these people? Where are my notes? Ah, here they are. From then on, Chuck and Sara were a team in a lifelong journey that would take them from the villages of Alaska to the hills of West Virginia. Sometimes the road was smooth, sometimes it was rocky, and sometimes the wagon almost rolled off the mountain. But through it all Chuck and Sara remained loyal partners, unusually devoted to each other and to family. Please join us in a celebration of this remarkable marriage between two kids from Southwest Missouri who went off to see the world.
